KKM first teamed up with Fredrika and James Syren and their 3 children in the Spring of 2020. The goal was to promote their short film, "Zero Time to Waste," at local and national festivals. Then the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

Rather than waiting, KKM helped the Zero Waste Family share their story with families all across the country. By securing placements on TV via Zoom, they were able to explain how living Zero Waste or more sustainably has helped them save $18,000 annually and helps the environment.

The increased exposure led to a feature on NBC's "Home Sweet Home," a new book deal, and speaking engagements around the country and world.

A highlight was teaching the country how to create their own urban garden! Watch here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td0Lgq68ysA&t=39s
